International removals from London
Leaving the country, with the same crew at both ends
France, Spain, Italy and Portugal are the four destinations we serve, and all four are road routes. That is the whole reason the list is four: they are close enough to reach by road, so the crew that packs your flat in London is the crew that carries it off the van at the far end.
Four destinations, no handover to a crew we have never met. That is the trade we have made.
The four routes with pages of their own
Each of these is a long-established London household corridor, and each one has a specific problem worth knowing about before anything is packed. Spain and Portugal have long inland legs that are harder on furniture than the crossing is. Italy means the Alps, and cities built long before lorries. France is the short hop, where the crossing is a small part of the day and the access at both ends is nearly all of it.
- Removals from London to France — The short crossing, and the one route where the same crew is at both ends.
- Removals from London to Spain — The long drive south, and why the crew size is decided by the far end.
- Removals from London to Italy — Over the Alps, into cities built before lorries existed.
- Removals from London to Portugal — The far corner of the mainland, and the longest single leg we run.
Why the list is four and not forty
We deliver to France, Spain, Portugal, Italy — and nowhere else. It is a short list on purpose. Every one of these is reachable by road from London, which means our own crew drives it, and nothing is handed to a destination agent we have never worked with.
Removals firms that list forty countries are not driving to forty countries. They are booking freight and appointing agents, which is a legitimate trade and is not this one. If you are moving somewhere that is not on the list above, we will say so plainly rather than quote for a route we do not run.
Collecting from outside London
The crew is a London crew and the address is usually a London one, but a vehicle heading for the tunnel does not care where the load started. We collect from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol and elsewhere in the UK where the load justifies the run, consolidating in London before it goes anywhere.
That is worth saying because international removal quotes frequently assume a single pickup. Two addresses — a house in Birmingham and a storage unit in London — is an ordinary arrangement rather than an exception.
Sole-use or shared
Sole-use means the vehicle carries your goods only, loaded once in London and unloaded once at destination. A shared load is consolidated with another household going the same way: it costs less, involves more handling at both ends, and its departure depends on the second load being ready.
On a route with a long drive at the far end — Andalusia, the Algarve, the deep south of Italy — the extra handling is a real consideration rather than a technicality. We set out the trade-off; the choice is yours.
What we do not do
We do not own the crossing and we do not file customs entries. The tunnel or ferry slot is booked with an operator whose timetable is not ours, and the customs entry is filed by an agent against declarations that are legally yours. We will tell you what is normal for a route so that nothing is a surprise, and none of it is legal, tax, customs or immigration advice.
We also do not ship vehicles, and we do not move pianos. Both are separate trades and we would rather point you at one than take the booking.
Tell us the destination city, not the country
Karachi and Lahore are the same shipping route and two very different journeys. The city is what decides the packing standard, and the packing standard is the part we control.
